Chocolate Covered Garlic

An unlikely pair where the bittersweet chocolate takes center stage and the garlic provides a mellow, creamy center. With just 4 ingredients, it’s not too tricky to get this treat.

3 heads of garlic cloves
2 Tbsp coconut oil, melted
1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate
1 Tbsp butter, unsalted


  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Place garlic cloves on a sheet of aluminum foil, drizzle with coconut oil. Wrap the cloves with aluminum, making sure it’s all covered and let it bake for 30 minutes.
  • While the garlic cools down, melt the semi-sweet chocolate and butter in the microwave in 30 second intervals until chocolate is fully melted.
  • Dip each clove of garlic in the melted chocolate, place on parchment paper, and chill until chocolate hardens.
