6 Russet potatoes, peeled and cut into large cubes
14 garlic cloves, peeled
4 Tbsp butter
¾ cup milk, warmed
1 cup garlic and herb cream cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste
In a large pot of salted water, place all the potatoes and garlic cloves. Heat the pot over medium-high heat and let boil until potatoes are tender.
Once the potatoes are tender enough to be broken up with a fork, drain the potatoes and garlic, put them back into the pot, and mash until desired consistency.
Once mashed, put the pot over medium heat and mix in butter, heavy cream, and cream cheese until all melted and incorporated. Season with salt and pepper, to taste, and serve!
