Lisa Rosenberg M.S, M.B.A Director of R&D at Spice World, has been in the industry for over 10 years working for various food companies. Lisa first found her love of food and science in high school, and decided to pursue it when she attended college. She went on to get her Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Food Science at the University of Vermont. She furthered her education in food science and went to North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC to obtain her Master’s. Her thesis was a collaboration between the USDA and Mt. Olive Pickle Company improving the texture of pickles using alternative fermentation methods. In 2013, she was hired by PepsiCo in Valhalla NY. During her tenure, she spent several years in beverage product development, selected for a rotation opportunity in Dubai, UAE and spent a year in global procurement function. Through all of this, she also obtained her M.B.A from Fordham University in NYC. In 2019, she relocated back to NC to work as a Product Development Manager at Retail Business Services/Peapod Digital Labs which are subsidiaries within the Ahold Delhaize organization. She developed several items to launch in Private Label for Food Lion, Taste of Inspirations and Nature’s Promise Label.
