As America’s top supplier of fresh garlic to supermarkets across the country, we recognize there are currently consumer concerns about the safety of imported products and food stuffs.
Our team is closely monitoring updates from the CDC, Johns Hopkins Medical, and the Food and Drug Administration, which has determined: “Currently there is no evidence of food or food packaging being associated with transmission of COVID-19. Like other viruses, it is possible that the virus that causes COVID-19 can survive on surfaces or objects. For that reason, it is critical to follow the 4 key steps of food safety—clean, separate, cook, and chill.”
COVID-19 virus is a respiratory virus and is easily transmitted between humans in close proximity to each other. Therefore, Spice World has taken all available precautionary steps within our facilities to educate our workforce and partners on the best handling practices, and hand sanitation. Spice World has added additional hand wash stations and conducted staff training to educate and limit the potential transmission or contamination from COVID-19 within our facilities.

We will always declare these ingredients on our label in the ingredients. If no ingredient statement appears on the product label, then the product is as it appears in the product name (e.g. fresh garlic bulb(s)). All our retail extracts are formulated without gluten. This labeling policy adheres to the Food Allergen Labeling and Consumer Protection Act (FALCPA).
Our Spice World facilities have allergen, sanitation, and hygiene programs in place. Our employees follow good manufacturing practices and are trained in the importance of correct labeling and the necessity of performing thorough equipment clean-up and change over procedures to minimize cross-contact of ingredients.
We encourage you to read the ingredient statement on your package at the time of purchase to ensure accurate, up to date information.
While we do not currently have a direct order service, many of our products can be purchased online though our retailers found in our ‘Where To Buy’ link on the top right-hand corner of our website. You may also visit your preferred retailer’s online store to see if they offer home delivery.
Our entire current product line is featured and updated on SpiceWorldInc.com regularly. If a product is still being made, you will find it on our “Products” page. If a product is no longer produced, it will no longer be featured.
