As part of this partnership, Spice World partnered with Publix to create a cooking school series with the Orlando Pride players in 2022 where players prepared their favorite dishes that reminded them of their home country and families using Spice World products. For the 2023 season, we partnered again to create the first ever Lion Chef Cooking Competition with Orlando City players.
Three fan-favorite soccer players from Orlando City Soccer Club were paired up with celebrity chefs from Publix and Oakview Group to go head-to-head in this heated competition to see who would create THE winning dish and be crowned as the first ever Lion Chef. Watch as Facundo Torres, Gastón González, and Felipe Martins add a kick of Spice World flavor while racing against the clock to create a show-stopping dish. May the best meal win!
