4 sprigs of rosemary
2 sprigs of thyme
2 cups extra virgin olive oil
4 bulbs of Spice World Fresh Garlic
Peel Spice World Fresh Garlic, trim root ends, and add to a dry saucepan.
Cover garlic with extra virgin olive oil, ensuring that all cloves are completely submerged.
Add rosemary and thyme to the oil.
On the lowest heat setting, simmer for 30 minutes. Do NOT allow it to boil. Look for a golden brown color to occur; they will be fork tender when done.
Remove from saucepan, storing oil and garlic in glass jars. Serve immediately, or store in the refrigerator until ready to use, for up to 1 week. Freeze for longer use.
