Serves: 4
Total time: 20 minutes
INGREDIENTS
2 Tbsp canola oil
6 cloves Spice World Peeled Garlic, sliced
2 ½ tsp Spice World Ready-to-Use Minced Garlic
4 Tbsp butter, divided
1 ½ cup white rice
1 ½ cup chicken stock
¼ cup scallions
INSTRUCTIONS
In a saucepan, heat up canola oil over medium heat and fry sliced garlic cloves. Once golden and crispy, transfer them onto a paper towel to drain.
In another saucepan, melt 2 Tbsp of butter over medium heat and add minced garlic. Cook until the garlic turns a light golden brown and the butter is well infused with garlic flavor.
Add white rice and let it toast in the butter for a couple of minutes. Pour in chicken stock and cover with a lid to let the rice cook for 12–15 minutes, until all the liquid is absorbed by the rice.
Once the rice is cooked, fluff it with a fork, stir in the remaining 2 Tbsp of butter, and top with scallions.
