Michael Smith is a veteran Executive Sales and Marketing leader with over 45 years of CPG experience dealing with complex product portfolios including brands and private labels.
Michael has a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from Western Illinois University. Michael joined Spice World in 2019 as Senior Vice President Sales & Marketing leading the company’s sales expansion and planning. Prior to joining Spice World, Michael spent his 25-year career at Mizkan Americas providing executive leadership to the commercial team driving M&A activity and organic growth strategies resulting in $1B in sales. Michael, as part of a two-member team, led the development of Mizkan UK business executing a $750mm acquisition of iconic British brands Sarson’s, Hayward’s, and Branston’s as a foundation for the UK division.
