Ingredients
For the Tacos
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 lb ground chicken
1 yellow onion, chopped
3 Tbsp Spice World Sizzlin’ Fire Roasted Fajita Seasoning Blend
3 Tbsp Spice World Ready-to-Use Minced Garlic
1 tsp red pepper flakes
½ tsp dried oregano
Salt, to taste
¾ cup water
¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
12 hard-shell tacos
2 cups Mexican blend cheese, shredded
For the Cilantro Lime Cream
¾ cup sour cream
2 Tbsp Spice World Sizzlin’ Fire Roasted Fajita Seasoning Blend
½ cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
¼ cup pickled jalapeños, chopped
⅓ cup lime juice
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over high heat. When the pan is heated, add the ground chicken and chopped onion. Break up the chicken as it cooks and sauté until the meat is browned.
Add Spice World Sizzlin’ Fire Roasted Fajita Seasoning Blend, Spice World Ready-to-Use Minced Garlic, red pepper flakes, oregano, salt, and water. Stir until combined, reduce the heat to medium, and let simmer until the sauce has slightly thickened, approximately 10 minutes. Once the sauce is reduced, remove from heat and stir in the freshly chopped cilantro.
