Instructions

  • Press tofu with a clean kitchen towel. Then, place the towel-covered tofu under a heavy object for around 15 minutes. After the moisture has been drained, cube tofu and then toss in cornstarch.
  • While tofu is being pressed, mix soy sauce, Spice World Chili Onion Crunch Seasoning Blend, Spice World Ready-to-Use Minced Garlic, Spice World Ready-to-Use Minced Ginger, brown sugar, sesame oil, and sesame seeds in a small bowl to create the sauce for the tofu; set aside.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet at medium-high heat. Add pressed tofu and cook until the tofu is golden and crispy, about 10 minutes.
  • Remove tofu and add sauce to the skillet until sauce begins to simmer, around 3-5 minutes. Add tofu back and mix with sauce, continuing to cook for 1-2 minutes.
  • Serve over rice or ramen.
