Garlic Cheddar Biscuits
Nothing compares to a warm, fluffy biscuit fresh from the oven. It’s buttery, cheesy, and guaranteed to melt in your mouth.
Total Time: 30 minutes
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp baking powder
Spice World Garlic
Spice World Ready-to-Use Minced Garlic
Spice World Squeezable Garlic
6 cloves Spice World Peeled Garlic, finely minced or
6 cloves Spice World Fresh Garlic, finely minced
1 tsp salt
1 cup buttermilk
½ cup butter, melted
1 ½ cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
2 Tbsp butter, melted
1 Tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, garlic and salt. Add in the buttermilk, butter and cheddar and gently mix just until dough comes together.
Drop spoonfuls of dough on baking sheet, around ¼ each (making 12 biscuits) and 2 inches apart. Bake until lightly golden, about 10-15 minutes.
In a small bowl, combine melted butter and parsley. When the biscuits come out of the oven, brush on the melted butter and serve.
