To make sauce, combine all ingredients, aside from chicken, and pulse in a blender a couple of times.
Coat the grill with a tiny amount of butter or oil to ensure the wings don't stick. Make sure to fan away any flames while placing the chicken on the grill; the smoke will tarnish the flavor.
Brush the wings with sauce and grill until done.
Toss in the remaining sauce, season with soy sauce and hot sauce, and garnish with scallions and red peppers. Sweet, hot, spicy, garlicky, and wonderful.
