Grilled Garlic Shrimp

Garlic, lemon juice and oil are the basics for almost all seafood dishes. This is a great way to get healthy results from your grill. Just remember: it won’t take long at all for even jumbo shrimp to cook through.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs jumbo shrimp, tail on
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • 3 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 bunch green onions, thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup chopped parsley
  • Spice World Garlic
    1½ tsp Spice World Ready-to-Use Minced Garlic or
    1½ tsp Spice World Squeezable Garlic or
    3 cloves Spice World Peeled Garlic, minced or
    3 cloves Spice World Fresh Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Place shrimp in a glass bowl.
  • Stir the remaining ingredients together and pour over the shrimp. Cover and marinate for 3 to 4 hours.
  • Grill on each side for about 5 minutes over high heat. Be careful not to char the ingredients too much. You want the tail for flavor as well as to ensure it does not curl too much when cooking.
