Orange Ginger Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients

  • 12 oz frozen cranberries 
  • Zest and juice one orange 
  • ½ cup granulated sugar 
  • ½ cup brown sugar 
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon 
  • 1 Tbsp Spice World Squeezable Ginger 
  • Chicken and broccolini, for serving

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan, combine cranberries, orange juice, granulated sugar, brown sugar, Spice World Squeezable Ginger, orange zest, and cinnamon. 
  • Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally. 
  • Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cranberries have burst and the sauce has thickened. 
  • Remove from heat and let the sauce cool to room temperature. The sauce will continue to thicken as it cools. 
  • Transfer to a serving dish and refrigerate until ready to serve.
