Instructions

  • Heat a small skillet over medium heat. Add pecans and toast for 4-5 minutes, stirring until toasted. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  • Wipe pan with a kitchen towel and place back on stovetop. Add butter and melt.
  • Add Spice World Ready-to-Use Chopped Easy Onion and sage and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sage turns crisp and butter starts to brown.
  • Remove sage leaves from butter using a slotted spoon and reserve for later.
  • Add Spice World Ready-to-Use Minced Garlic and cook garlic and remaining onion for 1-2 minutes longer.
  • Pour butter, onion and garlic into a blender or food processor, along with feta and Greek Yogurt, pumpkin and honey. Blend for 2-3 minutes until smooth, scraping the sides of the blender several times to ensure everything is evenly mixed.
  • Scrape dip out of the food processor and onto a shallow serving dish. Top with fried sage leaves, toasted pecans, a drizzle of honey, and a sprinkle of black pepper and serve immediately with crostini, bread or crackers.
  • Serve at room temperature or refrigerate for an hour to serve cold.
