Sautéed Garlic Mushrooms

This will become your go-to recipe for mushrooms in all kinds of recipes. The 1-3 hour marinade is worth the time for all the flavors to combine.

Total Time: 15 minutes, plus time for marinating


  • 2 lbs fresh mushrooms
  • Spice World Garlic
    4 tsp. Spice World Ready-to-Use Minced Garlic or
    4 tsp. Spice World Squeezable Garlic or
    4 cloves Spice World Peeled Garlic, minced or
    4 cloves Spice World Fresh Garlic, minced
  • cup olive oil
  • cup white wine vinegar
  • cup dry white wine
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 2 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tsp salt, or to taste

  • Sauté Spice World Garlic in olive oil.
  • Add vinegar, wine, soy sauce, honey, parsley, and salt. Stir until the mixture is well blended and hot.
  • Place the mushrooms in a heat-proof container with a tight-fitting lid.
  • Pour the hot mixture over the mushrooms; allow them to marinate for 1-3 hours or more, turning over several times.

NOTE: Save the marinade for later use on more mushrooms or use it as a salad dressing.
