Sautéed Garlic Mushrooms

This will become your go-to recipe for mushrooms in all kinds of recipes. The 1-3 hour marinade is worth the time for all the flavors to combine.
Serves: 8
Total Time: 15 minutes, plus time for marinating


  • 2 lbs fresh mushrooms
  • Spice World Garlic
    4 tsp. Spice World Ready-to-Use Minced Garlic or
    4 tsp. Spice World Squeezable Garlic or
    4 cloves Spice World Peeled Garlic, minced or
    4 cloves Spice World Fresh Garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 2/3 cup white wine vinegar
  • 1/3 cup dry white wine
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 2 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp salt



  • Sauté Spice World Garlic in olive oil.
  • Add vinegar, wine, soy sauce, honey, parsley, and salt. Stir until mixture is well blended and hot.
  • Place mushrooms in heat-proof container with tight fitting lid.
  • Pour hot mixture over mushrooms; allow marinating for 1-3 hours or more, turning over several times.

NOTE: Save marinade for later use on more mushrooms or use it as a salad dressing.
