Shredded Taco Chicken

Real garlic flavor comes out when you cook this dish in the crockpot. This version of taco chicken is a healthier alternative to ground beef. Just remember to shred the chicken once it’s done to have chicken for tacos, sandwiches or even salads.

  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 packs of taco seasoning mix
  • 2 cans of Rotel Tomatoes (mild) (one drained, one undrained)
  • Spice World Garlic
    4 tsp Spice World Ready-to-Use Minced Garlic or
    4 tsp Spice World Squeezable Garlic or
    6 cloves Spice World Peeled Garlic, minced or
    6 cloves Spice World Fresh Garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp salt, or to taste

Put in the Crockpot on low setting for 6-7 hours. Then stir with a fork until all the chicken shreds and mixes with the sauce. Serve on flour tortillas or taco shells with shredded cheese, sour cream, and shredded lettuce.
