Simple Summer
Pasta Salad

Fresh, simple, and perfect for lake day lounging.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Spice World Easy Onion
  • 16 oz rotini pasta
  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cucumber, diced
  • 8 oz black olives, sliced
  • 8 oz mozzarella, cubed
  • 16 oz Italian dressing
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Fill a large pot with cold water. Season with salt to your preference. When satisfied, boil water and cook pasta according to package instructions. Take it out and strain when al dente.
  2. Once the pasta is cool, layer in tomatoes, cucumber, olives, and cheese.
  3. Combine Easy Onion and dressing in a small bowl; mix well.
  4. Gently toss the dressing mixture over the cooled pasta.
  5. Salt and pepper pasta to taste.
  6. Refrigerate for one hour or more before serving.

Garlic Aioli
Poolside BLT

Homemade garlic aioli, BACON, LETTUCE and TOMATO — LIGHT & QUICK WITH A SAVORY KICK.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, Spice World Garlic, and lemon juice and zest. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.

  • 4-6 slices of bacon
  • 1 roll of French bread
  • 1 fresh tomato, sliced
  • 1 cup of chopped lettuce

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Cook 4 bacon slices in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Drain on a paper towel.
  2. Spread garlic aioli generously on both cut sides of the French bread roll, halved lengthwise. Layer on bacon, fresh tomato, and lettuce.
  3. Close, slice, and serve.

Kickin’ Campout
Turkey Burgers

Fire things up for Father’s Day with Turkey Burgers that come with a kick!

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp Spice World Chili Onion Crunch
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • ¼ cup fresh mint, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup fresh dill, finely chopped
  • ½ cup red onion, finely diced
  • ½ cup bell pepper, finely diced
  • 4 strips bacon, finely diced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Pepper jack cheese, sliced
  • 4 hamburger buns

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a skillet, add in diced bacon and sauté until just cooked (bacon will continue to cook in patties). Remove from the pan and place to the side.
  2. In the same skillet, sauté red onion and bell pepper with Spice World Chili Onion Crunch. Let it cook for approximately 3 minutes. Take off the heat and set it aside to cool.
  3. In a bowl, combine ground turkey with fresh mint, dill, salt, and the cooked veggie and bacon mixture. Mix well, and shape into patties.
  4. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat or fire up the grill. Cook patties for 4-5 minutes on each side or until fully cooked. Top with pepper jack cheese, let melt and serve on a bun with your favorite toppings and condiments.

Peach & Ginger
Cobbler

Peaches, ginger, and a golden crust that tastes like it’s already a family tradition.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp (minced) Spice World Peeled Ginger
  • 1 (29 oz) can sliced peaches in heavy syrup
  • 8 Tbsp butter
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • Vanilla ice cream for serving

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Add the can of peaches and syrup to a baking dish.
  2. Stir in teaspoon of Spice World Peeled Ginger, minced.
  3. Divide stick of butter into 4 pieces and add to baking dish.
  4. Add flour and sugar to the peaches and mix gently until the flour is just moist.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 45 to 50 minutes.
  6. Serve warm, topped with vanilla ice cream.

Firecracker Garlic
Jalapeño Dip

Cool, creamy, with a jalapeño kick that’ll keep you coming back.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup Spice World Easy Onion
  • 2 tsp Spice World Fresh Diced Garlic
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 8 oz mayonnaise
  • 8 oz sour cream
  • 12 (1 oz) packages of ranch dressing mix
  • 2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp chopped pickled jalapeño
  • ¼ cup chopped green onions
  • Chips, crackers, veggies for serving

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Combine Easy Onion, Diced Garlic, cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, ranch dressing mix, pepper and jalapeño in a bowl. Mix with a hand mixer or whisk.
  2. Refrigerate for at least an hour to allow the flavors to blend.
  3. Top with green onions and serve with your favorite chips, crackers, or veggies.

Garlic Ginger
Chicken Kebabs

A bold marinade and sweet flavors combine for a backyard favorite no one will forget.

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp Spice World Garlic Ginger Fusion
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ cup pineapple slices
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 12 Tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast,  cut into 24 pieces
  • 1 bell pepper, cut into 24 pieces
  • ¼ of a yellow onion, cut into 24 pieces

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least thirty minutes. Skip this step if using metal skewers.
  2. Purée olive oil, pineapple, salt, pepper, Garlic & Ginger Fusion, and vinegar in a food processor until smooth. Pour the mixture over the chicken in a large bowl, cover, and refrigerate for thirty minutes.
  3. Alternately add chicken, bell pepper, and onion pieces on skewers (4 of each on each skewer).
  4. Cook on the grill or on the top rack of a 450°F oven on a foil-lined baking sheet for 20–30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
