Spice World Names New Director of Research and Development

Spice World announced the appointment of Lisa B. Rosenberg as its new director of research and development. In this newly created role, Lisa will lead Spice World’s robust innovation program designed to deliver on consumers’ desires to elevate the way they eat with innovative, convenient and fresh flavor.

“Lisa is an accomplished leader in the food R&D space with an excellent innovation approach and business acumen,” said Chris Kiser, CEO of Spice World. “We are thrilled she has joined our team to lead our next phase of new product development and innovation for our garlic, onion and convenient flavor offerings.”

Before joining Spice World, Rosenberg served as Innovation Manager at Peapod Digital Labs of Ahold Delhaize and developed new products for private label brands for both fresh and center store for all Ahold Delhaize banners. She also served as project manager and product development senior scientist for PepsiCo in both Quaker, hydration and carbonated soft drink portfolio projects in New York and in Dubai, U.A.E.

Rosenberg earned her master’s degree in business administration from Fordham University, her master’s degree in food science from North Carolina State University and her bachelor’s degree in nutrition and food science from the University of Vermont.
