Black Bean Hummus
This black bean hummus is creamy, zesty, and packed with bold flavor from fresh garlic, lime juice, and warm toasted cumin. Served with crispy plantain strips, it’s an easy appetizer or snack that comes together in minutes.

Ingredients
Spice World Garlic
1 small clove
Spice World Fresh Garlic
, minced
1 (15-ounce) can black beans, drained
¼ cup fresh lime juice
¼ cup tahini
2 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for serving
½ tsp ground cumin, toasted
¼ cup finely chopped cilantro
Salt and pepper to taste
Pre-made plantain strips
Instructions
Combine Spice World Fresh Garlic, black beans, lime juice, tahini, olive oil, and cumin in a food processor. Puree until smooth.
Transfer mixture from food processor into a mixing bowl. Stir in cilantro and season with salt and pepper.
Serve with plantain strips.
