2 Tbsp finely chopped thyme leaves, stripped from stems
Salt and pepper to taste
Sauce
½ cup butter
¼ cup flour
1¼ cups hot sauce
¼ cup honey
Instructions
Preheat oven to 450°F.
Pour oil into pan and heat over medium heat. Add Spice World Easy Onion and cook, stirring frequently, about 10 minutes; add Spice World Fresh Garlic halfway through. Cook until onions are light brown but not burned. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely.
In a medium bowl, combine ground chicken and remaining ingredients and mix well. Form meatballs into desired size and place on a foil-lined pan. Bake until chicken is cooked through.
While meatballs are cooking, melt butter over medium-high heat in a saucepan. While whisking the butter, add flour and continue whisking for about a minute. Continue whisking and slowly add hot sauce. Bring mixture to a slight boil, add honey, and then reduce heat to low.
Combine meatballs and sauce, then transfer to a serving bowl or platter.
