Plate of shrimp stir-fry with rice, broccoli, and mushrooms, garnished with sesame seeds

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp Spice World Garlic Ginger Fusion*
  • 6-8 medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • ¼ cup sliced mushrooms
  • ½ cup broccoli florets
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp rice wine vinegar
  • ½ tsp sesame seeds (plus extra for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup cooked white rice

*Substitute for Garlic Ginger Fusion:
½ tsp Spice World Ready-to-Use Garlic
½ tsp Spice World Squeezable Ginger

Instructions

  1. Rinse shrimp and pat dry with a paper towel.
  2. Add sesame oil to pan and heat over medium-high heat until hot. Add shrimp to pan and cook 1-2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add Spice World Garlic & Ginger Fusion (or Spice World Minced Garlic and Spice World Minced Ginger). Stir until aromatic, about 30 seconds.
  4. Toss in sliced mushrooms and broccoli florets. Stir-fry 3-4 minutes or until broccoli is crisp-tender. Add a splash of water if needed to steam.
  5. Return cooked shrimp to pan. Add soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, sesame seeds, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir until fully combined. Cook for another minute until heated through.
  6. Serve over cooked white rice and garnish with extra sesame seeds if desired.
